Biography of Nicolas

“Cycling has become my life ever since I was a kid, and what I feel for this sport is difficult to put into words. But I can tell you that every day is a new and beautiful adventure which I can’t wait to discover, these being just some of the reasons why I love the sport so much. We are so lucky to be part of this world and especially of this brilliant team, which has offered me a myriad of unforgettable memories, but more importantly, the chance to make so many great friends over the years”, says Nicolas, one of our nine dedicated and passionate mechanics, who’s getting ready to start his seventh season with Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl.

A proud father and husband, Nicolas loves spending time with his beautiful family and kids and riding his bike whenever there’s a window of opportunity between the races that usually keep him on the road for several months during the season.

It goes without saying that Ronde van Vlaanderen and Paris-Roubaix – the two cobbled Monuments that fascinate so many people for more than a century now – are his favourite races, but at the same time, he makes sure he never misses Strade Bianche, “one of the craziest and most spectacular races out there.”
