Biography of Steven

While new to the team for the 2022 season, team doctor Steven Bet certainly isn’t new to cycling. 

Steven has worked in sports medicine for 15 years, working with the likes of Sint-Twruiden football club and Lotto Soudal, as well as some work with the Belgian federation. This work has led to him getting to know the Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl team staff and joining the team, which he is delighted about. 

He has always had a passion for sports, and as well as being a keen cyclist himself, he enjoys running and playing football, although his biggest passion is for skiing, which he likes to do several time per year. 

When he isn’t on the slopes, he lives near Limburg, where he grew up, with his wife Ann and his two children, a dog, chicken, 10 fish and a cat, that keep him very busy!
